Under Rule 520 (4) (c) an information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr S Ching alleging that Mr I Kharill failed to make the contracted weight

Under Rule 520 (4) (c) an information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr S Ching alleging that Mr I Kharill failed to make the contracted weight for HUNZA BAY (Race 4) and CROWDED HOUSE (Race 7).

Mr Hamilton, who is Mr Kharill's employer, represented him and stated that Mr Kharill, when accepting the rides, did not perceive any problem making the carded weight.

Mr Kharill admitted the breach, stating that he had tried hard to make the weight but was unable to on the morning of the races.

--

Mr Ching stated that Mr Kharill had no previous breaches under this Rule.

PENALTY

Mr Kharill was found guilty of the breach and was fined the sum of $300.00.
