An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward, Mr CJ Allison, alleging, with approximately 150 metres to run SMOOTH CULLEN (K Larsen) shifted ground outwards on to ALL ABOUT PLEASURE (AW Kyle) with a resulting check to DREAMY EDEN (BG Barclay) with that runner losing all chance.

DECISION & REASON:
--An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward, Mr CJ Allison, alleging, with approximately 150 metres to run SMOOTH CULLEN (K Larsen) shifted ground outwards on to ALL ABOUT PLEASURE (AW Kyle) with a resulting check to DREAMY EDEN (BG Barclay) with that runner losing all chance.
--Mr Allison used several video clips to highlight the alleged incident.
--The alleged incident:
--Mr Kyle stated that he was of the clear opinion that Mr Larsen had moved outwards, when there was no room, forcing him to also move outwards, checking DREAMY EDEN.
--Mr Barclay stated he was unsure where the movement had come from, and that his horse was not going to figure in the finish.
--Mr Larsen believed there was sufficient room for him to move into. He stated his horse was still travelling well and was racing very greenly, and was difficult to steer. He also stated that he had the horse vet checked, and there was blood inside the horse's mouth.
--The Committee was of the opinion that Mr Larsen attempted to shift ground outwards, when not clear, effectively interfering with both ALL ABOUT PLEASURE, and as a result DREAMY EDEN.
--Mr Larsen was aware of his horse's wayward racing manners, and despite this took an unnecessary risk.
--The Committee upheld the charge and fined Mr Larsen the sum of $250.
