Mr Lammas admitted having problems with his weight and said he was currently trying a new diet which he was hoping would bring the results he needed. He said he consulted regularly with his agent, Mr Mike Dillon, and had asked him to only consider rides carrying a minimum of 54 to 55kgs.

These had been dealt with under the minor infringement scheme and had attracted monetary penalties of firstly $100 and then $200. Mr George submitted a fine of $400.00 was appropriate.
