| -- Decision --Following the running of the Kingdom Residential Trentham Jockeys Challenge Intermediate Mr M. Sweeney who rode RICHTER PASS to win the race admitted a charge of careless riding under rule 871(1)(d). --The films of the finish showed RICHTER PASS moving out under a determined ride causing a sharp check to JETSET GO (R. Hanam). --In determining penalty the Committee acknowledged Mr Sweeney's good riding record and candid admission of the charge but was less impressed by his failure to take any corrective action. Mr Sweeney was suspended from the close of racing on 26 January 2005 until the close of racing on 31 January 2005, a four day suspension. |
