Following of the running of race 2 (SANDFORDS), Information No.A12300 was filed with the Judicial Committee. It was alleged that Mr Hacche failed to scratch POST GRADUATE by the prescribed time of 7.30am.
Mr Goodwin advised the Committee that Mr Hacche admitted the breach and agreed for the hearing to proceed in his absence.
Mr Goodwin said that when contacted by telephone Mr Hacche told him that he thought the scratching time was 8am. Mr Hacche had contacted the Bureau at approximately 8am, with the horse being scratched shortly thereafter. He added that no other horse was denied a start.
