Mr. Goodwin believed that the actions Miss Taylor took by not riding her mount out cost the connections fifth place money.
Miss. Taylor informed the committee she felt her mount was coming to the end of its run and yes she did stop riding. Mr. Gray confirmed Mr. Goodwin's interpretation of the incident.
Submissions for Penalty:
Mr. Goodwin informed the committee that Miss. Taylor's record under this rule was good. He felt it was an error of judgement on her part and asked for a monetary penalty. Miss. Taylor had no comment.
Reasons for Penalty:
Miss. Taylor was told by the committee that arriving at its decision to impose a fine for this breach it took into account her record under this rule and her admittance of the breach. She was told that as a relatively experienced apprentice who has been riding a while she had an obligation to ride her mounts out fully.
