DECISION & REASON:
--Following race 4 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when M Coleman was charged that DANSKA MILL moved in when not clear causing a check to TOSTO (C Grylls) near the 700 metres.
----Mr Coleman admitted the charge.
----Mr W Robinson demonstrated the offence on the video. He showed Mr Coleman, racing three wide, first of all put some pressure on TARASCON then, as he moved forward and continued his inward move, take the line of TOSTO when not sufficiently clear forcing Mr Grylls to check his mount.
----Mr Coleman had nothing to say except that he admitted the charge.
----PENALTY:
--Mr Oatham gave Mr Coleman's good record, and added that although the offence was at the lower end of the scale, he asked for a suspension. After taking into account Mr Coleman's good record, his admission of guilt, and the severity of the offence we agree that a suspension is appropriate and we suspend Mr Coleman from race riding commencing after the conclusion of racing on 20 June until the conclusion of racing on 27 June 2007.
