--Following the running of race number 9 the Stipendiary Stewards lodged an information instigating a charge against Mr W Bartlett, the trainer of Rogan. The information alleged that Mr Bartlett failed to fix the boring pole so as not to malfunction or come adrift during the race. The Stipendiary Stewards said it was observed that the boring pole had come adrift during the running of the race.
----At the outset of the hearing the Committee noted from a perusal of the information that Mr Bartlett admitted the charge and did not wish to be heard.
----The charge is accordingly found proven.
----The Stipendiary Stewards advised the Committee that Mr Bartlett had no similar breaches over the last 12 months and recommended a monetary penalty only.

Having given consideration to all matters presented the Committee imposes a monetary penalty of $100.00.
