Following race 3 an information pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) was filed when it was alleged that C Parish breached the Rule when his mount, FOX CORP, when being ridden out shifted in near the 150 metre mark causing a sharp check to TOOHOTTOHANDLE (L Callaway).

DECISION & REASON:
--Following race 3 an information pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) was filed when it was alleged that C Parish breached the Rule when his mount, FOX CORP, when being ridden out shifted in near the 150 metre mark causing a sharp check to TOOHOTTOHANDLE (L Callaway).
----Mr Parish, who was represented by Mr A Jones, admitted the charge.
----Stipendiary Steward Mr A Coles demonstrated the video which clearly showed FOX CORP moving across and taking the line of TOOHOTTOHANDLE, who suffered a severe check.
----As Mr Parish had admitted the charge we have only to adjudicate on the penalty.
----Mr Oatham, in his submissions gave Mr Parish's record which showed that this was his fourth charge in the last 12 months. He asked for a penalty for an offence at the higher end of the scale.
----The Committee express concern that this is the second charge in 5 weeks, both offences which were at the higher end of the scale.
----We suspend Mr Parish from the conclusion of racing on 3 March until the conclusion of racing on 15 March 2007.
