| -- DECISION & REASON: --Following race 6 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when it was alleged by the Informant, Stipendiary Steward Mr A R Coles that Miss C I Anderson, the rider of ETERNAL LEE, committed a breach of that Rule when she angled inwards after the start when not the required distance clear of DIAMONDS FOR ME (L CALLAWAY) who clipped a heel of ETERNAL LEE and stumbled badly. Miss Anderson, who was represented by her employer Mr S Autridge , admitted the charge. --PENALTY; --Mr Oatham demonstrated the films which clearly showed the interference shortly after the start. --Stipendiary Steward Mr Coles gave Miss Anderson's record and said he felt that a suspension was required. --Mr Autridge asked that Miss Anderson's riding engagements covering the North Island be taken into account. --After taking into account Miss Anderson's guilty plea, her riding record, and her future engagements the Committee suspend her from the conclusion of racing on 5 March 2005 until the conclusion of racing on 12 March 2005, 3 days --. |
