Following the running of Race 10 (Oktoberfest 3rd October Mobile Pace 2200m) Information A12241 was filed with the Judicial Committee. It was alleged that Mr Bublitz used his whip on more occasions than permitted when driving MARIA KIRILENKO over the final 400m.
Mr Bublitz confirmed that he understood the Rule, the Charge and said that he admitted the breach.
Mr Muirhead showed the film replays which showed that Mr Bublitz struck his horse 11 times over the final 400m (limit is 10).
Mr Bublitz and Mr Mitchell agreed with the number of strikes (11) and had nothing more to say.
