At the meeting of the Timaru Harness Racing Club 31 December 2007 an information was lodged by the Stipendiary Stewards alleging that Junior Horseman, D J Dunn, broke a driving engagement on FAR FROM GRACE also taking a drive on LIVELY MATTERS.
----At the outset of the hearing the Judicial Committee noted that Mr Dunn admitted the breach and did not wish to be present at the hearing. The charge is, accordingly, found proven.
----In respect of penalty the Stipendiary Stewards recommended a monetary penalty only. The Committee, after giving consideration to the submissions, agrees that a monetary penalty only is appropriate and imposes a fine of $100.00.
