DECISION & REASON
----Following the running of Race 8 the Stipendiary Stewards lodged an information under Rule 867 [2] [d] against T O?Sullivan the trainer of Culleys Girl alleging that the shin boot on the horse came adrift during the running resulting in Brittney Jade jumping the shin boot liying on the track and breaking.
--At the outset of the hearing it was formerly noted by the Committee that the Defendant has admitted the breach in writing and had also advised in writing that he did not wish to be present at the hearing.
--The Stipendiary Stewards indicated that a monitory fine in the normal range for a first offender under this Rule was sought. The Committee taking into account that the Defendant had admitted the breach at the earliest opportunity and noting that he had no previous charges under that Rule in the last year, imposes a fine of $100.00.
