| -- DECISION & REASON ----Following the running of race two information was lodged by Mrs Williams instigating a protest under Rule 870(3). It was alleged that horse 3 (Chiola In BlackJeans) placed 4th by the judge had after approximately 400m left stride and remained in a break for approximately 200m, a distance in excess of the breaking horse guidelines. ----Mr Dickson, who confirmed that he represented the connections of the horse, accepted that the horse was not in its proper gate for the distance alleged and was therefore in breach of the rule and the guidelines and that Chiola In BlackJeans should be disqualified from thereon. ----Chiola In BlackJeans is accordingly disqualified from the race. ------ -- |
