Following the running of race No 10, an information was filed alleging a breach of the rules. The informant was Mr. J M Muirhead and the defendant Mr. R Green the driver of Red Gem in race 10.

Following the running of race No 10, an information was filed alleging a breach of the rules. The informant was Mr. J M Muirhead and the defendant Mr. R Green the driver of Red Gem in race 10.
--The information stated that Horseman Mr. R Green improved Red Gem outwards, forcing Brooklyn Guy (Mr. B Lee), to race wider on the track with approximately 1200m to run.
--Mr. R Green admitted the breach of this rule and did not wish to be present at the hearing of this information. Mr. Muirhead showed the video of this incident and it was clear that Brooklyn Guy was forced wider on the track. Mr. Muirhead submitted that this was a first offence and he recommended a fine of $200.00 taking into consideration Mr R Green's admission of this breach.

--Having taken into consideration the admission of the breach of this rule by Mr. R Green this Judicial Committee imposed a fine of $200.00 in this instance.
