--Following the running of race No 2, an information was filed alleging that Trainer Mr. E. Mathews was in breach of rule 864 (2) (d). The information stated that Trainer Mr. E. Mathews failed to affix a bandage to Kawarau Amber so as not to come adrift just prior to the start in its preliminary. This resulted in the start of the race being delayed.
--Mr. Mathews admitted the breach and did not wish to be present at the hearing of this information.
--Mr. Muirhead recommended a fine of $100.00 for this breach.
