--An information lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr B Van Kan against Mr G Dixon trainer of PARADISE EARL alleging a breach of Rule 865 (4) in that he paraded the horse in the assembly area without removable earplugs, the horse having raced with removable earplugs on the 1st June 2007. Mr Dixon admitted the breach and did not wish to be present at the hearing. Mr Van Kan recommended a fine of $100.00 which is the standard fine. I imposed a fine of $100.00.
