Following race 1 an information was lodged by Stipendary Steward Mr A Ray pursuant to rule 871(1)(d) when he alleged that Mr G Walsh allowed his mount I?MANELBE to shift in near the 200m when not clear

Following race 1 an information was lodged by Stipendary Steward Mr A Ray pursuant to rule 871(1)(d) when he alleged that Mr G Walsh allowed his mount I?MANELBE to shift in near the 200m when not clear of THE PATRIACH ( N Handley) which had to be checked.
--Mr Walsh admitted the charge.
--Mr George showed the side & head on videos of the home straight. He showed Mr Walsh on his mount I?MANELBE racing three of the fence. Near the 200m mark he started to drift in towards the running rail. In doing so he took the ground of THE PATRIACH and Mr Hanley was seen to have to take hold of his mount to avoid the heels of I?MANELBE.
--Mr Wash said he didn?t think it was very serious.
--PENALTY: Mr Ray said that although Mr Walsh had a good record he asked for a suspension.
--Mr Walsh said that as a hurdle rider he traveled the whole country.
--The committee agree that a suspension is appropriate and accordingly suspend Mr Walsh from the conclusion of racing on 17 June till the conclusion of racing on 24 June, 3 days.
