Mr SCAIFE admitted the breach and elected not to be present for the hearing.

Video footage of the concluding stages of the race clearly showed in excess of twenty blows with the whip with little let up even at the point where there was no chance of improving her finishing position

Mr Taumanu suggested a fine of $200 was appropriate taking into account Mr Scaifes guilty plea and driving record. Accordingly this fine was imposed.
