| -- DECISION AND REASONS: --Following the running of Race 2, Cavalier Trotting Products Handicap Trot, an information was filed by Stipendiary Steward, Mr N G McIntyre, against Licensed Trainer, Mr P C Nairn, alleging that Mr Nairn, as the trainer of PARAMOUNT GEM and INSIST in the race, was late presenting the horses into the birdcage with those horses arriving at 12.19pm with the advertised time being 12.10pm. ----Mr Nairn signed the Statement by the Defendant on the information form acknowledging that he admitted the breach of the Rule and that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of the information. The hearing proceeded in his absence. ----Mr McIntyre informed the Committee that Mr Nairn had no previous breaches of the Rule on his record. ----The charge was found to be proved and Mr Nairn was fined the sum of $50.00. ------ -- -- JUDICIAL COMMITTEE ------ -- -- -- -- -- -- --
