| -- DECISION & REASON ----Following running of Race number 6 and information alleging a breach of the Rule 867 was file by the Stipendiary Stewards. The information alleged that S. Thompson [Precious Title] dropped this left leg out of the foot rest for approximately 200 metre rounding the final bend. ----At the outset of the Hearing Mr Thompson verbally confirmed he admitted the breach of the Rule and that he wished to be heard in respect of the incident and penalty. ----Mrs K. Williams demonstrated the incident with the assistance of the video replays which clearly showed Mr Thompson dropping his left leg out of the foot rest and returning it to the foot rest after approximately 200 metres. Accordingly the charge is found proven. ----With regard to penalty Mrs Williams advised that in all the circumstances she sought a penalty of $100.00. In reply Mr Thompson said that he accepted the Rule had been breached and that he accepted the recommendation by Mrs Williams as to penalty. Accordingly a fine of $100.00 is imposed. ------ -- --
