| -- DECISION & REASON: --Following race 3 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when it was alleged by the informant, Stipendiary Steward Mr J P Oatham, that C Chipperfield rider of RELY ON ME (7) committed a breach of that Rule when he moved out near the 800 metres when not clear causing a check to COUP SOUTH (5) ridden by Alan Browne. ----The defendant pleaded guilty. The Committee viewed the race video of the incident. The only issue to be determined is penalty. ----We accept Mr Oatham's submission that a suspension must be imposed. ----Mr W Robinson demonstrated on the video the incident where you moved off the rail one horse width checking COUP SOUTH when not the required distance clear. COUP SOUTH suffered a sharp check. ----Mitigating factors: --
