Following race 4 an information was lodged by Stipendary Steward Mr J Oatham pursuant to rule 871(1)(d) when he alleged that Mrs L Satherley permitted her mount SHANGHAI DEVIL to shift inwards near the 250 metres when not sufficiently clear of THALESTRIS (M Walker) who was checked.

Mr Oatham demonstrated the incident on the videos. He showed Mrs Satherley on her mount SHANGHAI DEVIL racing off the rail soon after entering the straight. She allowed her mount to make an inward movement and in doing so moved into the line of THALESTRIS when not sufficiently clear

As Mrs Satherley admitted the charge the committee is required to adjudicate on penalty only.

Mr Oatham, after giving Mrs Satherley’s good record asked that a suspension of 4-5 days be imposed.
