Decision: Following race 3 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871 (1) (d) when it was alleged by the informant Stipendiary Steward Mr J Oatham that R Eynon, rider of FRENCH DIRHAM, committed a breach of that Rule when he shifted in 200 metres after the start dictating ARRASTRA,
Following race 3 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871 (1) (d) when it was alleged by the informant Stipendiary Steward Mr J Oatham that R Eynon, rider of FRENCH DIRHAM, committed a breach of that Rule when he shifted in 200 metres after the start dictating ARRASTRA, ridden by C Ormsby, into the line of SISTER VERONICA, ridden by L Macfarlane, who clipped a heel and losing ground.
--Mr Eynon admitted the charge.
--Mr M Williamson demonstrated the video and showed where, soon after the start, Mr Eynon allowed his mount to move inwards applying pressure on to ARRASTRA who was pushed into the line of SISTER VERONICA with resultant interference.
--As Mr Eynon has admitted the charge we are required to adjudicate on penalty only.
--Mr Oatham gave Mr Eynon’s good record and asked for a suspension for an offence on the lower scale of interference.
--Mr Eynon had nothing to add.

PENALTY
--The Committee, after taking all factors into consideration, suspend Mr Eynon from the completion of racing today, 3 May, until the completion of racing on 16 May 2008 (4 days).
