--Following Race 5 an information was filed against apprentice jockey Miss D Johnson, alleging careless riding, Rule 871(1)(d).
--Miss Johnson admitted the breach.
--Mr Williamson demonstrated the incident on the race videos.
--The only issue for determination is penalty.
--Taking into account the following -

We note Mr Cameron's submission that the significant interference was caused by the second and third placed horses before the inward movement.
--The committee considered that a suspension be imposed, and in the circumstances suspended Miss Johnson's jockeys licence from the conclusion of racing on the 17th October 2007 up to and including the 22nd October 2007 (3 days).
