Following Race 3, an information was filed pursuant to rule 638(3) (b). The informant, Mr Coles alleged that Mr McDonald used the whip excessively on his mount SLOSHED.

Mr Coles demonstrated the video films and pointed out Mr McDonald striking his mount 12 times before the 200 metres without giving the required respite.
Mr McDonald said that he was just trying his best on the favourite and miscounted the number of strikes he had given his mount.
