DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 1, Anderson & Hill Sportspower Mobile Trot, an information was filed by Stipendiary Steward, Mr N G McIntyre, against Licensed Open Driver, Mr M R Hay, alleging that Mr Hay "failed to drive HOUDINI STAR out over the concluding stages".
----Mr Hay did not admit the breach.
----After the charge and the Rule were read to Mr Hay, the Committee warned Mr Hay that a breach of the particular Rule is one that would be likely, if proved, to incur a significant penalty. Mr Hay was advised of his right to have the hearing of the charge adjourned to a future date to give him the opportunity to prepare a defence to the charge and, if he wished, to obtain legal advice and/or be legally represented at the subsequent hearing.
----Mr Hay accepted that the charge was a serious one and elected to have the matter adjourned and, accordingly, the hearing was adjourned sine die.
