Following the running of Race 2 an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mrs N. G. McIntyre alleging a breach of Rule 870(4)(a) and the "Breaking Horses" Regulations by Charlotte Galleon (9) driven by Mr T. S. Chmiel.

DECISION AND REASONS:

--

Following the running of Race 2 an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mrs N. G. McIntyre alleging a breach of Rule 870(4)(a) and the "Breaking Horses" Regulations by Charlotte Galleon (9) driven by Mr T. S. Chmiel. Mr Chmiel had written on the information as follows ? "I do not contest the protest as galloped more than 50m". Neither Mr Chmiel nor any of the other connections of the horse attended the hearing.

Video coverage of the race was used to show that Charlotte Galleon finished in 3rd place at which time it was in a break, and had been so for at least 100 metres at that time.

Accordingly Charlotte Galleon was disqualified. The amended places are as follows.
