--Following the running of Race 7, the Teltrac Communications Mobile Pace, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mrs K. R. Williams against Mr G. R. Bond , the driver of "Barbara Wren" (12), alleging a breach of the "push out" rule.
--Mr Bond had endorsed on the information that he admitted the breach of the rule and that he did not wish to attend the hearing.
--A video of the incident was shown where the defendant had pushed "Our Fred" (13), driven by Mr C. T. Woodward, wider on the track at about the 1400m mark.
--PENALTY: Mrs Williams advised that the Mr Bond had no previous relevant convictions. A fine of $200-00 was recommended. I was satisfied that a fine of $200-00 was appropriate, and Mr Bond was fined the sum of $200-00.
