Following the running of Race 7, the Eureka Trust Handicap Pace, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. Ydgren alleging a breach of Rule 870(3) and Clause (b) of the “Breaking Horses” Regulations by “London Legend” (6) driven by Mr D. J. Dunn.

It was alleged that “London Legend” had broken from its gait for more than 50 metres within the final 200 metres of the race. Video coverage of this incident was shown.

Mr C. T. Dalgety, the trainer of “London Legend”, did not attend the hearing but he had endorsed on the Information “I do not contest the disqualification of the horse”. Accordingly “London Legend” was disqualified from its 4th placing. The amended places are as follows.
