--Following the running of Race 3 an information was lodged by Mr N. G. McIntyre, Stipendiary Steward, against Mr D. J. and Mrs C. M. Butt, licensed trainers of Unattached (5), alleging a breach of Rules 849(2). It was alleged that the defendant presented Unattached with the incorrect saddle cloth number.
--Mr D. J. Butt did not appear at the hearing but confirmed on the information that he admitted the charge.
--Mr McIntyre stated that the horse had gone into the assembly bearing the wrong saddle cloth number.
--Mr McIntyre recommended a fine of $200-00 for this breach, and after looking at similar breaches the committee agreed with this submission.
