Following the running of Race 4, the Racingworld Technology Pace, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre under Rules 869(4) and (6)(b) and (c) alleging a breach of the push out rule by Mr A. E.Veint, the driver of "Stuart Brown", with about 1060 metres to run.

DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 4, the Racingworld Technology Pace, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre under Rules 869(4) and (6)(b) and (c) alleging a breach of the push out rule by Mr A. E.Veint, the driver of "Stuart Brown", with about 1060 metres to run.
--There had already been a hearing of the protest against "Stuart Brown's" 4th placing which was not contested. Mr Veint admitted this breach of the Rules on the basis of the same evidence heard during the protest hearing.
--PENALTY: Mr McIntyre advised that the Mr Veint had no previous relevant convictions and a fine of $200-00 was recommended. Mr Veint said that he preferred a fine to a suspension. I was satisfied that a fine of $200-00 was appropriate, and Mr Veint was fined the sum of $200-00.
