DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 7 Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren laid an information against Mr C. J. De Filippi, caretaker trainer of "Cool Story" (12), alleging a breach of Rules 865(1) and (4). It was alleged that "Cool Story" raced without the identical gear that it raced in on 22 October 2007, this being outside the 12 day guidelines. Mr De Filippi had indicated on the information that he admitted this breach of the Rules and that he did not wish to attend the hearing.
--Mr Ydgren recommended a fine of $100-00 and I was satisfied that a fine of this amount was appropriate. Accordingly Mr De Filippi was fined the sum of
