--Following the running of Race 1 an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren alleging a breach of the "lapped on" rule, Rule 870(5), by "Shara Boy" (6) driven by Mr G. D. Ryder. Mr Ryder had indicated on the information as follows – "I agree horse to be relegated. G. D. Ryder".
--Video coverage of the race showed that "Shara Boy" finished in 4th place at which time it was in a break. At that time "Shara Boy" was lapped on by the 5th horse, "Patisserie".
--Accordingly "Shara Boy" was relegated to 5th place. The amended places are as follows.
--1st – The Fat Controller (8)

--4th – Patisserie (3)
