DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 10, 123racing.com Mobile Pace, an information was filed by Stipendiary Steward, Mr N G McIntyre, against Licensed Open Driver, Mr D D McCormick, alleging that Mr McCormick "failed to come up to and/or maintain his position on the mobile on MARONAN ROSE".
----Mr McCormick had signed the Statement of Defendant on the information form to the effect that he admitted the breach of the Rule and, further, that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of the information. Also endorsed on the information from were the words "Stewards recommend a fine of $100".
----The charge was found to be proved.
----Mr McIntyre showed a video replay of the 1950 metres mobile start and he pointed out Mr McCormick on MARONAN ROSE which had drawn barrier 7. He showed Mr McCormick fail to come up into his position prior to the start.
----Mr McCormick was fined the sum of $100.
