Following the running of Race 3, the ?Pegasus Spur? Standing At Woodlands Stud Handicap Trot, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mrs K. R. Williams alleging a breach of Rule 870(4)(a) and the "Breaking Horses" Regulations by DAZZLE EYRE (9) driven by Mr A. M. Butt.
--It was alleged that DAZZLE EYRE broke from its gait with about 70 metres to run, and that it was still in a break at the winning post. Mr Butt had endorsed on the Information "I do not contest the protest". Accordingly DAZZLE EYRE was disqualified from its 4th placing. The amended places are as follows.
