| -- DECISION AND REASONS: --Following the running of Race 1 an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr S. T. Larkins alleging a breach of the "lapped on" rule, Rule 870(5), by Castleton Touch (7) driven by Mr A. M. Butt. Mr Butt had indicated on the information as follows ? "I do not contest this protest". Mr Butt attended the hearing and advised that he represented the trainer and owners of the horse, and Mr Butt also confirmed that he did not contest the protest. --Video coverage of the race was used to show that Castleton Touch finished in 3rd place at which time it was in a break. At that time Castleton Touch was lapped on by the 4th horse, Aria Abbe. --Accordingly Castleton Touch was relegated to 4th place. The amended places are as follows. --1st ? Boomdiddiboom (9) --2nd ?
