Following the running of Race 1, the “American Ideal” Standing at Woodlands Pace, an Information Instigating a Protest was laid by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr N. R. Escott alleging a breach of Rule 869(8). It was alleged that “Strathcullen” (4) had caused interference to “Christian World” (2) rounding the final bend.
