DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 5 an information was lodged by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr N. R. Escott against Mr B. McIntyre, licensed trainer of Jamie (3), alleging a breach of Rules 865(1) and (4). It was alleged that the pacifier was not put on Jamie which it had raced in on 11 November 2005.
--Mr Barron, the driver of Jamie, represented Mr McIntyre and he admitted this breach and indicated that he did not want to attend the hearing.
--Stipendiary Steward Mr McIntyre advised that this was a $25,000-00 race, and that a fine of $200-00 was recommended. We were satisfied that a fine of $200-00 was appropriate and Mr McIntyre was fined this amount.
