--Following the running of Race 2 an information was laid by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr N. R. Escott alleging a breach of Rule 870(3) and the "Breaking Horses" Regulations by "Sure Mark" (6) driven by Mr S. Dickson. Mr Dickson had indicated that he was the "agent" for Sure Mark's connections.
----Video coverage of the race was used to show the incident. Mr Dickson did not attend the hearing and had written on the Information ? "I do not contest the protest and accept that the horse should be disqualified ? galloped in excess of 50m".
--Accordingly Sure Mark is disqualified, and the amended places are as follows.
