Following the running of Race 6, the Avon City Ford Mobile Pace, an information was laid by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr N. R. Escott against Mr J. H. Gameson alleging a breach of Rule 864(2)(d). It was alleged that Mr Gameson, the trainer of “Charbella Gold” (4), failed to affix the hopple strap so as not to come adrift.
Following the running of Race 6, the Avon City Ford Mobile Pace, an information was laid by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr N. R. Escott against Mr J. H. Gameson alleging a breach of Rule 864(2)(d). It was alleged that Mr Gameson, the trainer of “Charbella Gold” (4), failed to affix the hopple strap so as not to come adrift.

Mr Gameson had indicated on the information that he admitted this breach of the rules and that he did not wish to attend the hearing.
