The Informant, Mr B McKenzie, Racecourse Inspector, filed an information pursuant to Rule 302(5)(a) and 1002(1)(b) in that on the 5th of February 2008 the Defendant, Ms P.A. Ranui, Licensed Trainer, employed an unregistered track rider to ride a horse at Avondale Racecourse in trackwork.
--Ms P Ranui admitted the breach.
--Mr B McKenzie informed the Committee that after an incident that occurred during trackwork at Avondale Racecourse, it was discovered that the trackwork rider employed by Ms Ranui was an unregistered person.
--Ms Ranui stated she had nothing further to add.
--Mr McKenzie submitted a fine of $100 was appropriate.

Accordingly, we imposed a $100 fine.
