An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr NR Escott against the 4th placing of Horse number 3 Meander In The Sun on account of breaking at the start of the race and galloping in excess of one hundred and fifty metres after the start.
----The protest was not contested.
----Evidence was given by use of the video film of the start of the race and this clearly showed Meander In The Sun breaking and it was estimated that it galloped for approximately 220 metres.
----Taking all evidence into account and the fact that the protest was not contested I hereby disqualify Meander In The Sun from 4th place.
----The amended placings are now 15 first, 9 second, 1 third, 11 fourth, and 12 and 16 dead heating for 5th.
