--Following Race 1 (on 23 April 2009) Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren has filed an Information against Licensed Trainer Mr N. R. McGrath alleging a breach of Rule 865(2) and the Approved Gear Regulations.

--Following Race 1 (on 23 April 2009) Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren has filed an Information against Licensed Trainer Mr N. R. McGrath alleging a breach of Rule 865(2) and the Approved Gear Regulations. It was alleged that Mr McGrath raced MARC A ANVIL in a removable hood without notifying a change of gear as required under this Rule.
-- Mr McGrath had indicated on the information that this breach of the Rules was admitted, and that he did not wish to attend the hearing. Mr Ydgren
recommended a fine of $50-00 in this case, and we were satisfied that this was an appropriate amount. Accordingly Mr McGrath was fined the sum of $50-00.
