--It was alleged that HOLD ON FELICIA who was in a break when the finish line was reached, was lapped on to the 4th and 5th placed runners CHIANO PERNOD and FOOT LOOSE respectively.
--Mr Butcher, who represented the connections, did not contest the protest.
--Mr Taumanu produced the photo finish print which confirmed CHIANO PERNOD and FOOT LOOSE being lapped on by HOLD ON FELICIA

DECISION AND REASON
--The committee is satisfied that when the finish was reached HOLD ON FELICIA was off stride and lapped on to both CHIANO PERNOD and FOOT LOOSE.
--Therefore HOLD ON FELICIA is relegated from 3rd to 5th placing with the amended placing’s as follows;
--1st CORIANO
--2nd STRUTH WHATA PARTY
--3rd CHAINO PERNOD
--4th FOOTLOOSE
