An Information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr BJ Van Kan alleging that Trainer Mr J Dickie presented Great Getaway and Real Deal Yankee into the Assembly Area to race without the notified half Blinds.
Mr Dickie admitted the charges and advised this Committee that he did not wish to be present at the hearing.
The charges having been admitted are accordingly proved.
PENALTY SUBMISSIONS:
Mr Van Kan submitted that a fine of $200.00 was appropriate because that was the standard fine and the charges involved two horses.
PENALTY REASONS:
The Committee notes that the standard fine for this offence is $100.00 and also notes that there are two offences.
PENALTY:
The Committee therefore imposes a fine of $200.00 on Mr Dickie.
