An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr C J Allison alleging that Mr O T McRae, driver of CASTLE ROYALE, failed to come up to the mobile barrier in his correct position.
--Mr Allison used several video clips to demonstrate his viewpoint, stating that CASTLE ROYALE was at least 20 metres behind the mobile gate at the point of despatch.
--Mr McRae admitted this breach stating that his horse was very wayward and unruly and was likely to miss away altogether if he rushed him up behind the mobile.
--A breach of the Rule had clearly occurred and this Information was upheld.
--PENALTY
--Mr McRae had had no previous breaches of the Rule and as a result of this and his guilty plea, he was fined the sum of $100.00.
