At the conclusion of Race 6 informations were lodged by Stipendiary Mr C J Allison alleging that under Rule 862 (2) Mr A J Suddaby, driver of THE BOY WONDER, and Mr N P Williamson, driver of HURRY CURRY, started their horses from the incorrect barrier position.
--Both Mr Suddaby and Mr Williamson admitted the breaches.
--In fixing penalty neither driver had been charged over this rule in the past twelve months and both drivers admitted they had made a genuine mistake.
--Mr Suddaby and Mr Williamson were fined the sum of $200.00 respectively, and reminded of their professional obligations.
