--Following the running of Race 6 an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr B. Williams alleging a breach of the "lapped on" rule (Rule 870(5)) by Sure Mark (12) driven by Mr M. P. Jones. Mr Jones had indicated on the information as follows ? "I agree the horse is lapped on and relegated to 6th".
--Video coverage of the race was shown to confirm that Sure Mart was in a break at the winning post, and that Eiffel (18) which finished 6th was lapped on.
