----Following Race 3 Stipendary Steward Mr J Muirhead lodged an information following a protest against the 5th placing of number 2 Mystic Gem driven by Mr DK Gibbons on the grounds that it galloped in excess of 150 metres at the start and failed to regain its gait promptly.
----The protest was not contested by the connections of Mystic Gem.
----Mr Muirhead demonstrated the incident to the Committee by video film.
----The Committee disqualified Mystic Gem from the Race with the amended placings being 5, 10, 8, 6, 9 and 7.
